Meeting Place and Directions

We can arrange pick ups from accommodation and if you are hiring dive gear we may have to make arrangements to fit you with the right size.  Otherwise, our standard procedure for those with their own transport and gear is as follows:

We arrange to meet you at Paku wharf, near the harbour entrance.

The routine is fairly straight forward when you board the boat. We ask that you organise your gear so that we don’t have any gear bags on board.

Empty gear bags just get in the way.

Because we have a large back deck and there are side shelf’s and tank racks around the back of the boat all equipment can be stow safely.

We ask that one tank be set up ready to go with gear so we can place these in the tank racks ready for you first dive.

We prefer you slide your mask inside your fins so we can slide them into the shelf.

Gloves can be put in fins or catch bags along with any other accessory.

Cameras can be safely put on the front dash or in the dry hold.

Bags with dry clothes lunch etc can also go in the dry hold.

We ask that you are in your suits before we leave, if it’s warm just bottom half is fine jackets can easily be slipped on later.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
